  how to shop online

  1. There are 4 different departments in the IGS Store:
       IGS Members,
       Non-Members (Full Price),
       Memberships    , and
       Contribute to the IGS Capital Campaign.

    IMPORTANT: The online store requires that your browser is set to ACCEPT COOKIES. If you experience problems with the store, please check and make sure your broswer security settings are set appropriately. If you still have problems, try deleting your present cookies and clearing your browser's cache memory (temporary Internet files).

  2. IGS Members and non-Members departments have 4 different categories of items in each: (you can navigate between departments and categories using the links in the store's left frame)

  3. As you browse through the items, click on the link for a description of the item. You can either Add to Basket and continue shopping, or Add to Basket and Checkout. When you've completed your shopping, select the "Checkout" link in the upper right corner.

  4. If you have previously set up an account, you can log in. If you do not have an account established, select Place Order Without Account.

  5. Complete the Ship To/Bill to information. If you are paying by credit card, please make sure you give the mailing address associated with the card.

  6. Make sure you select the appropriate shipping method: UPS Ground - U.S.; Airmail - Canada; Airmail - Other International; or No Shipping Required for memberships and events. Shipping/Handling charges: Domestic U.S., UPS ground or equivalent: Minimum $2 + $1/pound; Canada, Airmail: Minimum $12 + $1/pound; All other countries Airmail: Minimum $14 + $2/pound.

    NOTE: Please order memberships and events separately from books and merchandise to make sure the system calculates shipping accurately.

  7. Select your method of payment: Check, Mastercard or Visa. Books and merchandise will be shipped upon receipt of payment. Please, $US currency only.

  8. Orders shipped to Texas addresses will be charged 8.25% sales tax.

  9. All orders will be checked to ensure proper application of shipping costs and sales tax, if applicable.

  10. Go to the Store:
